Size & Measuring Guide

Use a soft measuring tape and wear close-fitting clothing or the undergarments you expect to wear with the dress. Stand naturally on a level floor. Keep the tape flat against the body without pulling it tight or leaving extra space.

For the most reliable result, ask another person to help and take every measurement twice. Write the numbers down immediately. Use the same unit shown on the product size chart.

Measure around the fullest part of the bust. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and level across your back. This is not the same as a bra band measurement. Breathe normally and keep your arms relaxed at your sides.

Measure around the natural waist, usually the narrowest point of the torso. A useful way to find it is to bend gently to one side and note where the body creases. Do not measure where low-rise pants normally sit unless a product specifically instructs you to do so.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat. Check the tape in a mirror to make sure it remains level all the way around.

For a full-length dress, hollow-to-floor is measured from the hollow between the collarbones straight down to the floor. Follow the instructions on the specific product page regarding shoes. If heel height should be included, wear shoes with a height similar to your event shoes.

Height and hollow-to-floor are different measurements. Keep both available when a style or customization option requests them.

Compare each measurement with the chart provided for the exact dress. Size labels are not identical across every style. If your bust, waist and hips suggest different sizes, focus on the area where the dress is most fitted and consider whether a professional tailor can adjust the remaining areas.

Fabric stretch does not replace correct sizing, and decorative seams or boning may limit how much a garment can adapt. When in doubt, review the construction details and allow enough time for possible alterations.
